We love You and we praise You.
We thank You for all our blessings
Especially for the gifts of love, learning and community.
Inspire us to be like St. Paul.
Help us to choose the way of truth and light.
May we see Your goodness in everyone we meet
And may we work together to spread Your Good News.
We ask this, in the name of Your Son, Jesus,
Paul had been known as Saul until the time of his conversion to Christianity and is one of the key figures in the early church. He was born to Jewish parents in Tarsus (now Turkey), and was originally named for the ancient Hebrew King Saul.
When he was baptized a Christian he took the name of Paul. Paul, a Hellinized Jew, began as an enemy of the early Christians, persecuting them and putting many in prison.
