Safe Arrival Program

All schools of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board have instituted the Safe Arrival Program. How does the SAFE ARRIVAL Program work? Parents, guardians and caregivers will notify their child’s school about any absence or lateness by telephone or by note before the beginning of the school day.

Our Safe Arrival Number is
(807) 625-8604

This is a 24-hour answering machine. Please leave a message.

When an absence is recorded which has not been previously communicated to the school by the parent, guardian or caregiver, the school shall contact the parent and advise of the child’s absence. This procedure will be carried out as early as possible each morning and afternoon.

In situations where contact cannot be made with parents or persons delegated as contact persons in the absence of the parent, the police will be notified of the child’s absence.

Please DO NOT call our regular school number for Safe Arrival information. Rather, use the 625 – 8604 number for Safe Arrival.

We thank you for your cooperation.
