Cycling for a Cause

Our very own St. Bernard Elementary School Flame is cycling throughout quarantine for a cause!

Michael is kicking off Catholic Education week in a big way! He has decided to bike at least 1,000 kilometres to help raise money for the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation.

This is a family affair; along with the support of his friends, his family is beside him every kilometre of the way! Micheal wants to give back to the community, and this is his way of helping!

From his Principals, Mme Strickland and Mme Pascuzzo:

Michael, you have embarked on quite an adventure! Fundraising for our local Health Sciences Foundation is such a wonderful act of charity. This week is Catholic Education Week and our theme this year is 'Igniting Hope'. Michael, you are not only igniting hope for the Foundation but for the future of our youth. You will be an inspiration to many. Good luck, Michael!

You can follow Michael along on Facebook and Instagram! you can also donate to his cause here!
